Tough Mudder.

Tough Mudder


I'll be signing up for Tough Mudder Dallas event in March of 2012.
Time to start training hard. keep my running in.
and various different kind of exercise to keep my body in shape and get fit for the challenge.
I was browsing through youtube-workout-videos as usual... and came across this guy
Mantis- USA Jungle Gym. he does some intense home workouts with whatever things he can find.
no need for gym membership. well he's a triathlete. and conditions himself all the time.
I was very inspired and motivated to challenge myself a little more than I usual push myself.
I love lifting weights but been very bad at conditioning exercises to get my heart pumping.
So much dedication.

Jump roping!

Jump roping is such a great cardio exercise!
1 min of constant jump roping and 1 min of core exercise
1 ab -> 1 core -> 1 ab -> 1 core
for 30-40 mins without any break ends up with 15-20 mins of jump roping and core workout.
I've been doing that for past week and loving it.
super challenging but feel like getting better result than just running. 
built better endurance and definitely more on my abs.
still got a long way to go. but I've came a long way as well!... at least I think I did.

Late night hunger
that's no bueno... and it's really hard  not to eat anything after work. But, I'm trying!


I've been eating very late past couple of weeks, and not just eating late, but eating bad... Why do I like chicken wings so much?? hot wings, bbq wings, sweet and tangy... I take a big bite and just suck all the meat off of the bone. oh my.

canned Tuna.

I've been eating canned tuna all the time.
one small can of Albacore Tuna contains 20g of protein with very little calories and sodium.
Also, it is super easy to eat. There's no cooking involved with this canned tuna. I just pop open the can and it's ready!
Also, it is so much cheaper than chicken breast.

So I tried it!


After watching S.H's new chest routine...
I like it and don't.

I did 6 set of each exercise as he said to do.
I felt alot of pump and squeeze on my chest. but I still had lots of energy to burn. hmm maybe I didn't use heavy enough weight? but I could barely do 6 reps on cable exercise.

But, cable is for advanced people.. yeah... my body is not fully developed to feel the full affect of this routine yet. I'll stick with free weights till my muscle are fully developed and maybe try it out later.



currently at 194lbs 12% bf 
got about 10 more pounds to drop. but it's so hard... can't get away from carbs!

I'll go run after work today to add in my cardio... I should add more cardio... 
well 3 more years of lifting and I'll maybe. maybe happy to take my shirt off in public.

Steak Steak Steak

Shoulder - Bi- Tri

That's what I just did today...
I need to find a newer routine and maybe try something different.
I've been researching different workout routines often, but they are all similar and just different order.
Well. I have been hitting abs daily now. adding more cardio.

But, I need to get some sun! gotta get darker to maybe.... bring out the definition by darkening my skin. haha
